Visitors cast long shadows as they walk through the grounds of the Louvre Abu Dhabi in the UAE capital on the evening of 12 January 2018. The museum opened on Saadiyat Island in November 2017, with a collection based on items held by the Louvre in Paris, France. The building was designed by Jean Nouvel, with a giant circular roof capping the entire area.
